What the client needed

Mutualz is a city app for restaurants and cafes: diners order and pay from the phone, collect points and vouchers, and share their visits with friends. Restaurants manage menus, orders and offers in an admin panel.

Mutualz is a start-up from Oldenburg, "from the region, for the region". The app joins what diners usually find in three places: ordering at the table, a loyalty program that brings them back, and a feed where people rate and share restaurants. For restaurants it is a way to fill tables and keep their guests.

• As a diner, I want to order and pay from my phone at the table, so that I do not wait for the bill.

What made it hard
