One platform for customers and providers: search by area, booking in person or by telehealth, favourites, invitations and reviews, and a toolbar for each provider. After the launch we ran it and added new modules.

What the client needed

ObtainCare finds and books service providers in your area, from healthcare to car care and everything in between, in person or by video where the service allows. Providers join as individuals or companies and keep their rates, insurance, awards and contacts in one profile.

People look for a dentist, a mechanic or a plumber in different places, each with its own way to book. The client wanted one platform for services of every kind in a city and a district, where customers compare providers and book without leaving home and providers run their profile and appointments.

• As a customer, I want to compare providers near me and book a time online, so that I get the service without calling around.
• As a patient, I want a video visit when the service allows it, so that I do not travel for a consultation.

What made it hard

  One model for very different services. A clinic and a car repair shop share the same profile, search and booking, with video visits only where the service allows them.

  Individuals and companies. A provider signs up as either, and the toolbar holds personal information, rates, insurance, awards, specializations and contacts.

  Pages that bring customers. Public provider pages are built for marketing and search, and the goals came from the client's marketers, whose feedback steered the work.
