A mobile app with a course directory, friends' availability, games you set up or are invited to, chat and a library of golf reading, followed by the product's website.
Business context
What the client needed
GolfBevy helps golfers set up a round on public or private courses: friends mark when they can play, a directory holds the courses and clubs, and the game is agreed in the chat inside the app.
Finding a round is mostly messaging: who is free on Saturday, morning or afternoon, and which course will have you. The client wanted one app where golfers see which friends can play, look up a course or a private club and set up the game in a few taps.
User stories
What people do with it
- As a golfer, I want to see which friends are free on Saturday morning, so that I set up a round without a dozen messages.
- As a golfer, I want to look up a course or a private club before I play it, so that I know where I am going.
- As a golfer, I want to agree on the tee time in the app's chat, so that the plan and the talk stay in one place.

GolfBevy is no longer online, so these screens are our rebuild of the app: the directory, the players and the welcome screen from its own screenshots, the rest from what the app does. Scroll or drag inside the frames, or click to open full size.
Key challenges
What made it hard
- 01Availability at a glance. Each friend's usual score and when they can play - morning, afternoon or a set tee time - fit in one line of the list.
- 02Games in both directions. A golfer sets up a round and invites friends, and other golfers can set one up with them.
- 03A directory worth browsing. Public courses and private clubs, with the year each was founded and its architect, next to a library of articles about the clubs and the game.
